I don't have huge blackheads or pores on my nose, but the pores on my nose do get clogged and when I touch my nose, especially on the outer side edges, I can feel small bumps.  The nose sheets don't really pull anything out.  I used this once and it did a good job of getting out the stuff trapped in my pores.  It doesn't get everything but it gets out a lot more than the pore sheets.  If you have small pores and pore sheets don't work for you, this is a good alternative.  If nose sheets work for you, then stick with using that.  I used this on my boyfriend who has big pores/blackheads.  The nose strips for him gets more stuff out.
