This essence is a bit sticky but lightweight and absorbs rather quickly, adds some hydration and my face is smooth after I use it (you can't use it as a stand alone moisturizer!). I haven't noticed any improvements on my acne scars and PIHs but I haven't used it for a long time to decide wether it works on them or not!
