Wonderful sleep mask!! I complete my entire skin routine & apply this as a final step over my moisturizer. It absorbs easily and I have never once broken out from using it - probably thanks to the yogurt extract. Little orange beads burst on contact with your skin. Delicious orange scent. I think it definitely could have a brightening effect. BTW - I am 50+ years old with combination skin looking for products that specialize in anti-aging and skin-brightening benefits.
