This mask comes in a yogurt tub wrapped in a cardboard cover that is just locked by 2 tabs on the bottom instead of glued. The tab on the tub is just for design, you can just open the lid of the tub without pulling the tab off. There wasn't an additional plastic seal to prevent the cream from coming into contact with the lid. I definitely recommend Nature Republic to fully seal and redesign their packaging so customers know 100% they are getting a brand new product.
There was a huge crater in the cream which is unusual since I know that Korean products are usually filled to the brim. These pictures were taken when I opened the package. This made me wonder if maybe Nature Republic filled their products this way or if it was used and returned by someone else prior to shipping it to me. A person can basically disassemble the cardboard wrap by unhooking the tabs at the bottom, open the tub without disturbing the tab, take/use the product, and then reseal the tub and repackage it without any noticeable disturbance.
When you close the lid after use, it's really easy to trap air inside and not fully close the container, so you have to spend a bit of time to make sure to squeeze the air out fully.
This product came with a spatula, which I appreciate. The cream is quite dense so you only need a little more than a pea size amount for your whole face. The mask didn't break me out but it made my skin feel greasy and there was no whitening effect. It wasn't very moisturzing either.
