Firstly, the name has been changed to a less offensive "Whitening Power" rather than "White Power", so that's a good start! I used it about 15 minutes after applying Cosrx's snail essence because I wanted the benefits of both, plus a little bit more moisture on my combination/dry skin. The colourless, clear substance has a small chemical scent to it which immediately fades after applying it. It's slightly viscous, but not like the snail essence which is like an egg white. I thought, because of its lack of viscosity compared to the snail mucin, it would be like rubbing water on my face, but it actually feels more moisturising. Only two pumps can cover my face and neck. It takes a little while for it to be absorbed into the skin but not too long, and the slight stickiness left over does go away after a minute or two. It left my skin feeling very supple and smooth, and immediately gave it a slightly dewy sheen, which makes it look nice and healthy.
I've been using it everyday for two weeks and I have already noticed my skin colour becoming more even. Rather than 'whitening', I'd say it's brightening and evens out any dark spots on my face. I have also noticed that it gives me a bit of a 'plumped up' look too. I usually have very small lines around my mouth after smiling or talking, and they're hardly noticeable anymore. I'm looking forward to seeing my skin improving more in the next few weeks!
Below is what the essence looks like before blending (as you can see, very much like water) and after blending (hardly any trace on my hand, but on the face it leaves a light but flattering glow).
