I bought this to replace Missha’s waterproof sun block, of which I wasn’t a huge fan. Cosrx has a really good reputation so I was excited about using this! This cream is packed nicely with a plastic cover sealed around it, so you know for sure you’re getting a new product. As with all Cosrx’s products, the sunscreen is easy to apply with minimal fuss and no gimmicks. The cream is very thick, a bit like oil paint, and is a yellowish white with a small hint of lustre. I thought it was going to give my face a white cast, or make me sparkle like a Twilight vampire, so I was a bit hesitant with my first application! However, after applying it, there was no white cast at all. I was really happy with that! In fact, it made my skin so smooth and it felt so well moisturised. I have combination-dry skin and I'm happy to go out without an added moisturiser on top of this in the summer - I'd only use an extra moisturiser underneath for windy or winter weather. As for the sebum control, it does a decent job of that too - my nose usually gets so shiny and oily after about an hour, but this sunscreen delayed that (not a significant delay, so if you're worried about sebum control, I would recommend using another product for that). My cheeks are usually quite dry but this cream made them feel smooth and supple. My skin stays feeling really soft long after I've applied it. I wouldn’t be afraid to reapply another layer after a couple of hours because it doesn’t feel heavy at all, but I personally haven’t felt the need to do so yet, because the sun hasn't been out for long :( Cosrx specifies that you must wash your face at the end of the day to remove the sunscreen which means that it isn't waterproof, but I don't mind - I would reapply all sunscreens after swimming and/or showering anyway just to make sure my skin is still protected. My only dislike is the size of the tube… It would be nice to have the option to buy a bigger one to last longer.
