This removes my makeup just as amazingly as my Erno Laszlo sensitive oil cleanser. They even smell similar to me. I do use it around my eyes as well, but that is after I have used an eye makeup remover on a q-tip to remove my mascara. It really breaks down my makeup well. I do always go in afterwards with a microfiber cloth to clean up any residue of the product before moving on to a cream cleanser.
