For my oily skin, this primer adds additional hydration without being greasy. It spreads evenly over the face and my foundations apply beautifully over it. I use this primer in conjunction with more long wearing foundations to help combat the drying effect while also making the skin look more glowy. For dry skin, I am not sure if it would be enough hydration but for oily-combo skin it's really nice.
