I was actually pleasantly surprised with how hydrating the BLUE one actually is. Typically when you think if clay masks you think tightening,detoxifiying, ect but this..was pretty light. And honestly just fun to use. Left my skin feeling soft and smooth. However if you are looking for a heavy duty kick acne butt kind of mask...this is not really the one for you
