You only need a small amount and then just gently massage on your face (even eyes) then wash off. Your eyes might get blurry if you manage to get some on them while washing off, but it'll go back to normal after a while or you could just wash your eyes with more water. No stinging and non-drying however it does require to be followed up by a second (non-oily) cleanser.
