This is not a classic primer but light oil that doesn’t feel oily-it absorbs really fast & smells lightly of real roses. I have dry skin & use this as another hydrating layer (4-6 drops are enough for my whole face)...I don’t think this will prolong your makeup but it nourishes my skin and it helps with dryness so my makeup looks really nice and dewy
