I feel that with this being a balm you get more product than the ones that have a sponge soaked with product instead. This gives my skin a little of a dewy like glow which is nice. I really like that it's easy to reapply on the go (it has a mirror) and I also don't have to use my hands, I can just pat it in with the puff.
