I normally use a Salux cloth and bought this shower cloth as a potential replacement.

It can create a nice lather with some effort, but the plasticy nature of the material makes it unappealing. It is not as exfoliating as the Salux and had unpleasant odor after the first use that went away after sending it through the washing machine, but I'm still reminded it's made of a synthetic material.

This may be nice for trave or short term usel, but I'm going to upgrade to a cotton/silk blend imabari shower towel next instead of repurchasing this product.
