I have dry/acne prone skin and normally use Kose Softymo's Speedy cleansing oil (pink bottle). I purchased this item in hopes that it would clean more thoroughly and help prevent my skin from being dehydrated.

This cleanser is more moisturizing than my old one. This cleanser requires a little effort to get the full effect; I wash my face with my hands and get a little tired by the time the bubbles have popped and I work the oil into my skin, then you add a little water to get the foam, then you wash it all off. I've started just applying this cleanser before taking a shower, and that works well enough for me. For light cleansing I use a micellar water or mild exfoliant on a cotton pad.

I don't wear much makeup so I can't speak to its makeup dissolving abilities. I've found one pump is just the right amount for my face.
