I am pretty surprised at how well this product work. This is meant to help heal dark spots from recent pimples, otherwise known as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH)--this does not help reduce active pimples or acne and it does not help fade old scars, freckles, or sunspots.

I had two spots on my forehead from pimples that had popped the week before. I applied this cream in the morning and at night before bed right after cleansing and again as a last step. I was pretty generous and reapplied it whenever I had a moment. In three days my spots had faded significantly, when usually I would have a spot stay for almost a month, these are almost completely faded.

The one thing I have to note is that this product is a thick cream that doesn't really absorb well. It kind of sits on top of the skin, part of the reason I kept reapplying is that I felt it was rubbing off all the time rather than sinking in. Still, you get a generous amount in the tube and it will still last me a long time, so I don't really mind. It has a slightly herbal, medicinal smell, but it didn't bother me.
