The color is a very bright, intense red so it definitely lives up to its name. Texture-wise, I thought it might be more creamy but it is actually quite watery. It will leave a stain that will not go away even after rubbing vigorously. It dries fast so if you want to create a gradient lip, you have to work fast. If you like a very in-your-face red lip, then this is definitely for you.
