I'd never used any snail product before this one so I have nothing to compare with. This serum has a little bit viscous texture but it's OK for my combination skin type anyway. I noticed that it does have good healing properties as the overall look of my reddened cheeks has improved and it smoothed tiny wrinkles in eyes zone.
