I purchased the 36mm curling iron, and am obsessed with it! It's a high quality heat tool that styles very easily and effectively.

Jolse shipped this item through DHL and it came perfectly packaged. I wasn't struck with customs tax or anything, which was great. Inside a pink Vodana box was the curling iron, a hair clip, an outlet adapter, and manual.

The iron has heat settings from 100 to 200 degrees celsius and heats up very quickly. I usually select 160 degrees and the red light will blink within 10-15 seconds to indicate that it is ready to use. Due to its thickness, it creates these beautiful, natural curls that look soft and not overdone. I have very thick and coarse hair with some frizz, and the curls still come out smooth and shiny. The cord is has a full 360 degrees swivel, so there's no worry about the cord tangling during use. The handle also remains comfortable to hold and does not heat up during use.

Major points for being dual voltage, so that I can use it anywhere in the world without having to worry about converting voltage. Also, even though the actual power plug is Type C (like the ones you see in Europe), the product came with a free plug adapter for Type A (I live in Canada) so I was able to use it with no problems. I just found that really thoughtful towards all international customers.

I was lucky enough to win the 40mm version during one of Jolse's 2019 Black Friday daily draws, so I've been able to compare the two sizes. The difference isn't massive, but I'd recommend the 36mm to anyone with medium-long hair near shoulder length. Even then, it's a pretty thick iron and you'll get in approx. 3-4 rotations max, to be honest. 40mm is definitely more suitable for hair well below the shoulders. For reference, I used it when my hair was halfway down my back and it was perfect. Now that I've cut my hair to just below the shoulders, 40mm is too big to use so I reach for the 36mm instead. I hope this helps for anyone trying to decide between the two sizes. :)
