I'm not exactly a frequent makeup user, but this sponge is honestly quite bad even for inexperienced makeup users like me. It has a strong latex, rubber smell straight out of the container. I normally wash my new makeup tools before using it and this one had a weird sticky feeling that didn't go away after washing and it also turned yellow-ish (mine was white). Strangely, the smell didn't go away. Blending wise, it's not bad cause it does blend everything together, but the sponge itself is quite stiff and soaks up a lot of product. So overall, not gonna repurchase.
