when i first used this product, it was very hard and rough on my skin. it also has a weird chemically smell to it but it slowly goes away (over 2 months in using this product?) most of the smell is gone but there is a small hint of it still. after using it for a while it does gradually get a bit soften and it doesnt feel as rough oh the skin. the finish is quite nice but cannot be compared to the beauty blender. also it's a bit hard to clean because it takes a while for it to become white (i just rub soap against it in water).
