Initially I was disappointed because I expected this to be a cream. It's actually a gel with pink capsules floating around inside. The scent is quite nice and it does smell like flowers. It is quite moisturizing and leaves a bit of film over your skin that I think is like a moisture barrier. It spreads easily and absorbs without stickiness. I would have preferred it to be a cream but it works well enough and doesn't break me out.
