I was looking for a mascara with less preservatives in it and less higher than 1-2 grade EWG ingredients and ended up buying this mascara. It is a little bit overpriced but since ingredients list is good, buying this mascara was worth it. It does not give you any miraculous effect to your lashes but it does not smudge, fall or leak during the day. I'd say it's waterproof. I liked the swan lash wand. I might repurchase.
